Ruthia is a name I share with my grandmother Ruth, a woman of timeless style and grace. Growing up, I was surrounded by her elegance, often wearing pieces passed down from her that still inspire me today. It took me time to embrace my name, but as I grew older, I realized how beautifully it reflects who I am. Ruth, in Hebrew, means “friend” or “companion,” and with the soft melodic touch of “-ia,” it feels distinctly feminine, unique, and enduring—just like the spirit behind my work.
I was raised in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, where the vibrant streets and eclectic culture sparked my creativity from a young age. Art and photography have always been part of my life, nurtured by my creative family and community. With a background in Photography, Videography, and Fashion styling, I’ve always been drawn to the art of storytelling—capturing not only how something looks, but how it feels. Over the years, I’ve worked across Social Media, Fashion and Bridal, combining my love and passion for visual art with the artistry of Bridal.

Three years later, I photographed Designer Kelly Faetanini’s 2023 collection debut during my Bridal Fashion Week internship in NYC, which led to an opportunity to assist her social media marketing team on a collection shoot the following month, and my passion for capturing Bridal Fashion.
Over the years, I’ve worked on personal shoots that reflect my love for visual storytelling—many of which you can view here on this site. Each project has been an exploration of personal growth, expression, and creativity, allowing me to refine my eye as a photographer while also deepening my passion for fashion and styling. As my skills grew behind the camera, so did my desire to bring visions to life through wardrobe, details, and atmosphere, naturally leading me to the world of Fashion and Bridal styling.
From Ruthia is my portfolio and platform to merge these passions: Bridal Fashion, Timeless Style, Fashion expertise, Photography, Videography, and Creative Direction. Whether I’m styling a gown, capturing a moment through my lens, or curating a vision for a shoot, my goal is always the same—to create something that feels personal, warm, and unforgettable.
At the heart of my work is connection and Joy. Just as my name carries the meaning of “companion,” I approach fashion and Photography as a way of building relationships between people, memories, and beauty.
